Bermuda’s Art World has dimmed with the passing of this amazing artist.

Molly Godet has left us too soon.
Walker of this world.   Painter of watercolours.   Ambassador of Plein Air.  Supporter of the Arts Centre.     Wearer of Stilettos.  Sharer of love.  Supporter of charities.  Holder of wit.  Commander of style.
Plein Air will continue, but it won’t be the same without you.

Tonight 5:30 – 7:00 p.m.

“Davy Jones Locker,” a Juried Members’ show, is set to open on Sunday, October 8 from 5.30pm to 7.00pm at the Bermuda Arts Centre at Dockyard.

A spokesperson said, “Davy Jones Locker” was given to our Member Artists as the theme for our upcoming show this Sunday.

“The show name is an idiom for the bottom of the sea, so we were looking for pirate ships, pirates and anything that you might find living under the water.

“Our artists have gone beyond our expectations. Work being entered includes paintings in all media, computer art, stuffed toys, functional art, ceramics, cedar sculptures and even a cigar box.

“We invite everyone to our opening this Sunday. A fun, vibrant and interesting show, sure to appeal to anyone that has a passion for the ocean.

“The show remains open until November 24 at the Bermuda Arts Centre at Dockyard, which is open every day from 10.00am to 4.00pm. Free admission, wheelchair accessible.”
