“I have chosen to participate in this fundraising project, as I am keen to support Friends of the Hospice. I understand the important work they do through my own family experiences in the UK of hospice care. I enjoy being part of a caring and supportive art community.”
This co-operative fundraiser supports the enhancement of quality of life and the beauty of art that surrounds us, both of which go hand in hand. The installation piece can be seen at BREW on Front Street (under The Pickled Onion)

BARB FREDA
“I started painting with the Plein air group in Bermuda nearly eight years ago after working up my courage to first show up to the group and then to actually show my work to the group. I credit the welcoming and encouraging spirit of the Bermuda Plein air painters for much of the progress I’ve made as a painter and a sketch artist. Giving back to fundraising efforts in Bermuda is a way of saying thank you for the education from so many talented painters on the island.”Facebook: Barbara.fredaInstagram: babettefeasts””
The above installation was created by 12 of The Bermuda Arts Centre’s Member Artists. The piece will be donated to Friends of Hospice to hang in the new AGAPE House.
RAISING MONEY FOR ART AND AGAPE
Prior to installation in the new AGAPE House, sponsors are sought for each individual square. This will take place in the form of an auction to sponsor the square and artist of your choice.
The highest bidder for each square will have their names placed on a plaque to hang under the installation piece at the new hospice facility. Those successful sponsors/bidders will receive an 8″x10″ painting from the artist they have bid on.
This co-operative fundraiser supports the enhancement of quality of life and the beauty of art that surrounds us, both of which go hand in hand.
