Materials stamping and meeting point will be at entrance to the Castle Point property. Parking for locals will be by the “baby beach and tennis courts.” A shuttle will take you to the property.
Paint out at private estate: “Castle Point,” Tucker’s Town. A ten-acre property featuring beachfront, cliffs and caves, amazing views and all endemic plantings for inspiration. A beautiful homestead with classic Bermudian architectural features and a castle folly.
Noon: Box lunch available if pre-requested.
3 pm Transportation back to hotels and homes as pre-arranged.
5:15 pm: Michael Harding Workshop at DNA in Hamilton.
Materials Stamping and meeting point at Masterworks front entrance at 9:15 am.
Paint throughout the 36 acres of the gardens, which feature a mix of park, woodland, greenhouses, agricultural buildings and horticultural collections, as well as Camden House, the official residence of Bermuda’s premier (used chiefly for functions and not as a residence).
Noon until 2 pm: Lunch on your own at Homer’s Café sponsored by MasterWorks Museum: Masterworks has invited participating artists (you must be wearing your festival badge) to enjoy a light lunch and a small glass of wine from a selected menu.
Afternoon option: 2 pm lecture and tour of the Bermuda MasterWorks Collection with Tom Butterfield – see work by Winslow Homer, Georgia O’Keeffe, Marsden Hartley, Charles Demuth, Henry Moore and others – all inspired by Bermuda’s beauty.
If you are not interested in the tour, continue to enjoy the garden and painting on the property.
3 to 3:30 Gather at entrance to Masterworks for pre-arranged transportation back to hotels.
Tuesday Evening is open and unplanned for participants to enjoy Bermuda on their own.
